I LOVE THIS!!! This has got to be one of the best things I have ever read. It sums up so much. I had most of those feelings for a guy this year. Yeah you know who I'm talking about because it caused some problems between you and me. Now that things have cooled down a bit I don't hate him anymore but your writting expresses so much of how I felt then. You are very talented. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words, and such. All is good between you and me as far as I'm concerned, forgive and forget, no hard feelings. I knew better than to get my hopes up that someone actually liked me for me, and I got put back in my place when reality hit...right were I belong.

You know that feeling you get, when you would gladly give your life if given the choice between you and them dying? That feeling when you love someone so much you'd do anything for them, even push your own feelings aside for them? I was at that point about a year ago; said person literally ripped my heart out of my chest and stomped it into a bloody pulp.

Hence, this poem.

You just don't forgive people for that... the reason I come off as so cold and harsh in person. I find that if you don't let people get that close to you, then they'll never be able to hurt you. Every relationship I've ever had has ended horribly; after so many let downs and heart breaks, I've came to the conclusion that it's me...not them...and it's just best if I keep to myself, cause the better people know me, the more they hate me.

I'm rambling...but yeah. People who play with other's emotions should be slapped with a dead fish or something...

I completly understand how you believe that if you don't get close to anyone then they can't hurt you. Anymore people (expecially teenage girls) fall for guys way to easy. They say "I love you" and the girls hooked. No offense to anyone, I really don't mean any harm but it's the truth. I don't understand why people get so attached at such a younge age because when people leave to go to college they'll just find someone else anyway. I think people need to serousely sit down and think about what they want and if their not 100% sure then they need to just wait.

This is such a strong poem. I really like it because it goes deep inside and talks about that one thing that almost everybody fears...rejection. Sure, everyone's been rejected. But how many people come right out and say it? I really admire you're ability to just come right out and say "YEAH I WAS HURT. SO WHAT?" At least you learned from it...and you moved. Too bad I can't say the same for like the other 75% of the world's population who continue to stagger after that "one true love". Kickin' wing dude.
